I’d like to veganize my green chilli recipe!
That sounds fantastic!
I’d make bacon with the Soy Curls.
A girl after my own heart!
That Not Beef Stew looks delicious! If I win, I will definitely be making that first! 🙂 Thanks for the giveaway!
Thanks! I really think you’d enjoy it!
I need to check out all three of these recipes, I have some curls in the pantry. Yummy!!
Gloria! Get to work ! 🙂
I’d like to veganize my gumbo recipe.
I finally went and bought a case of these Butler Soy curls and it was so well worth it I can’t describe. I did have my doubts I learned here that it’s a great product and I’d love to win!
That sounds lush!
I love Soy Curls! I usually end up using them for chili, tacos, or as veggie bacon (using the recipe from Vegan Diner). I’ve been meaning to use them to veganize my mom’s old recipe for chicken and noodles, but that’s been on my to-do list for a long time!
I really need to order Vegan Diner! I’ve heard so many good things about that recipe in particular (and I’m sure it’s all fabulous). Soy curls are so versatile! I have made chicken noodle soup with them and it worked perfectly!
barbeque !
Yes!
I would like to try it in my chili.
I made chili with these once and took them to a potluck. All the non-vegans thought it was chicken! Ha!
I would love to try the orange chicken with it.
I can’t wait to do that as well!
Sloppy joes and chicken picatta
DOUBLE YUMMY!
Maybe if I win, I can experiment 🙂
Your BBQ sandwich recipe was what got me to buy the curls in the first place, and it’s still a favorite. Was a big staple at our Thanksgiving this year! I’ve not yet tried their seasoning though, but that’s definitely on the to-do list!
That’s such a tasty sandwich! I’m so pleased that you like it and the soy curls so much! What did you do with the soy curls for Thanksgiving? Intrigued!
We LOVE soy curls! Use them in chili, soups, tacos, with bbq sauce, in brown gravy over mash potatoes.
Birgit! All those things sound fantastic!
I have never had pulled pork-these seem like the perfect way to do it!
Yes! They would be great like that! I can imagine making them in the slow cooker would intensify the flavors and make it very realistic tasting!
I rehydrate them and make chicken salad. I love these so much!!
What a great idea!
I would love to veganize my grandmothers Chicken Paprikash recipe and the Soy Curls might make that possible.
That would definitely be possible! Grandmothers always have the best recipes!
I would love to try this in a stir fry
Oh that sounds good! We did fajitas once and it was amazing so I imagine the stir fry would have similar results!
I’ve never tried soy curls, but I’ve heard great things!
You are so missing out! They are so great and incredibly affordable. I especially like them for evenings when I’m struggling with what to make for dinner. It’s easy to build a meal around them!
I’ll bet! I’ll be looking for them!
We order soy curls frequently – they’re a menu staple! I’ve asked 3 different local stores if they would stock them, but it’s not happening 😦 .
I wish we could get them locally too, but the online deal is pretty sweet and they ship quickly so it’s not too big of a deal. I’m glad you love them so much!
I love soy curls! it’s a big thing here in portland oregon. i plan to make a bbq sandwich.
Awesome! You lucky duck! The BBQ sandwich is great 🙂
I usually use soy curls as barbecue!
That’s a great way to use them!
I’m thinking about old-fashioned chicken & dumplings, like my grandma used to make! I would LOVE to have a vegan version of that comfort food!
That would absolutely work! I loved chicken and dumplings too!
Using soy curls would be a first for me. I’d like to try making sloppy joes.
You are so missing out! They’re great! You might have to pulse them a bit in the food processor to get smaller pieces, but they would make incredibly convincing sloppy joes!
Hmm, I wonder if they’d work in sukiyaki, instead of seitan..?
I think they’d work perfectly!
I’d love to win this! Butler Soy Curls are a fantastic product. Thank you 😉
You are so welcome! Good luck!
Love soy curls, would be stoked to win this!
Awesome! They’re really fantastic!
My family loves soy curls! I buy them by the 12-lb. box and keep them in our freezer. (Take the bag out of the box, though, or there will be no space in the freezer.) My favorite place for them is in “chicken” noodle soup, but I have a bunch of recipes where I use them.
Pixie, that is a super smart idea. I really (REALLY) want a chest freezer since my fridge/freezer combo is full of frozen fruit, spinach, kale and nuts and seeds. I would love to store more soy curls!
I’d like to try them for tacos!
We’ve done fajitas so I’m sure they would be amazing for tacos!
Somer, it’s always fantastic visiting your site – I learn something delicious and new every time 🙂
Anne! You are the sweetest! xoxo
I’ve never tried these before because I can’t find them locally. I’d love to make anything with them!
I can’t get them locally either, but they are super easy and affordable to order online. I love how one pack is enough for 2 dinners for a family of 4 or more depending on what you’re making. So economical! They are really versatile too so I’m sure whatever you have in mind you could find a way to make it work.
I want to veganize Jamaican Browned Stew Chicken using soy curls.
Oh Goodness, that sounds good!
Probably “Chicken” Noodle Soup.
Yep! I’ve done it! It works great!
I would love to make a stir fry with these! I have heard so many good things about them 🙂
Ashley! All the rumors are true! 🙂
Soy Curls are the best. We don’t eat them often (twice a month?), but when we do, we share with friends — who can’t believe they’re not meat. I have you to thank for the introduction to this fabulous pantry (freezer) food. Cheers, Somer! Miss you, girl.
They are incredibly realistic! Miss you too! It’s been a crazy year for me. Hopefully I’ll be able to be more in touch with you and other bloggers I love when I can sit at the computer longer after my recovery. xoxo!
I want to veganize anything with barbecue sauce!
Oh heck yes ;)!
had them for the first time on thanksgiving – am excited about trying some new recipes
Cool! How were they prepared? I think you’d love them every which way 🙂
I’ve been looking for these locally. I’d love to try them.
Mary, I can’t get them locally either, but they are super easy and affordable to buy online. Shipping is quick too. Lots of people I know buy them in bulk for the value, but if you don’t want that much of them, you could even split the order with a friend. They are fantastic! I think you’d adore them 🙂
I have never tried soy curls–I can’t find them here–but I would love to use them in soup or stew!
Courtney
Yeah, not that many stores carry them unfortunately. For me, it’s something work ordering online because the pricing is good and shipping is quick. You can feed a family of 4 for dinner with just 1/2 a package, so the value is really good! They are excellent in soups and stews, especially if you season them nicely first.
I’d love to use this for a vegan beef stroganoff recipe
Yum. That sounds delicious!
I would love to try them in a hearty chili or as a curry chicken salad sandwich
Both brilliant ideas!
sad rafflecopter isn’t working for me:( i love soy curls though, especially bbq sandwiches!
Make sure you try again. Sometimes it just gets overloaded. Sorry!
I am so ordering these!
Right on Ryan!
I’d like to try Beef Stroganoff. I’ve never tried Soy Curls, but they look very versatile! Thanks for offering the “Give Away.”
They would be excellent for beef stroganoff! You need to get some of these! They really are incredibly versatile!
I am planning to veganize the traditional Puertorrican Christmas food: Pasteles. It’s like a tamale but using starchy tubers such as yucca and taro for the masa.
Oh holy deliciousness! I adore tamales, so these sound right up my alley!
I just saw a recipe for duck salad that would be delicious with soy curls.
Great idea!
BBQ sandwich all that way!!!
Ah yeah! 🙂
I’ve never used soy curls before. It looks interesting. 🙂
the first time i used soy curls, i made “hot wings” and no one asked if they weren’t chicken. i fooled them all! muahahaha! 🙂
Brilliant!!!
I’ll veganize chicken pot pie or stir fry!!
